Cookie Policy
We use as little browser storage as the service allows. There are no advertising cookies on PersonalityTruth and we do not sell data to ad networks.
What we use
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Local storage works similarly. We use both only where the site needs to remember something between page loads.
- Authentication: keeps you signed in and refreshes your session. Strictly necessary. Cleared when you sign out.
- Security: protects form submissions against cross-site requests. Strictly necessary.
- Preferences: remembers small interface choices such as the pricing period you last viewed. Optional and harmless.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, we do not embed social tracking widgets, and we do not build cross-site profiles of readers. Your assessment answers are never placed in a cookie.
Third parties
Signing in with Google sets cookies on Google's own domains under Google's policies. Our payment provider sets cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention when payments are enabled. Neither can read the cookies used by this site.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent you from taking a test while signed in, since the site cannot keep track of who you are.
You can also remove all site data at any time by clearing browsing data for this domain.
Changes
If we add a new category of cookie, we will update this page and the date above before it goes live.
